Tim Babcock Name Change: Beware!!!!!

Just received an email from a "Jim Young", responding to my P38 for sale on the p38 forum, mentioned the 200$ holster he screwed me with, want ed to make a deal of 300$ for the ac. Funny thing, the email was sent on a service called "self destruct", Once it opens you have 30 seconds to read it then it "self destructs", leaving no evidence!!!! Just a warning.........................Bruce

Bruce, That guy is a piece of work! I never heard of such a thing. What a weasel. Maybe it's you chance to get your money back..screw him out of it.
I will keep an eye out. Jerry Burney

If you "screw him out of it", then your as bad as him....stay the good guy

Howard, I couldn't disagree more. This scummbag stole $400.00 from me on a dagger deal. If I could figure out a way to get it back legal or otherwise I would do it.
This rodent does not care how, who or where he steals. I think it would be nothing more than street justice to turn his own evil trick back on him.
When someone steals money from you like this rat did to me and Bruce, there is no GOOD guy anymore.
If a mugger stole 400 dollars from you in a dark ally, would you slug him with a baseball bat if you got a chance and take it back? I would.

I understand he stole money from you and Bruce, and I understand your anger and wanting your money back, but God gave you the gift of forgiveness for your own good, not the thiefs, and forgiving thing, we both undertstand this takes time don't we. The world is full of what ever this guys name is, if you don't get your money back, and I hope you both do, for your own good, do not harbor this inside you.....for the guy waiting for me in a dark ally with a baseball bat, well JB, he just brought a ball bat to a gun fight, its why I carry....and licensed to.

Howard, Don't get me wrong, I don't have any anger, I'm Zen about it. I don't carry around other peoples garbage. I just say, if you get the opportunity it would be stupid not to take advantage of it. Jerry Burney

I would like to know more about this turkey named 'Tim Babcock' alias 'Jim Young'. Maybe we should have a "Buyer Beware" segment here. I know it has been discussed before. But its still a good idea.

I still think if these guys can get their money back by other means they should go for it, regardless of anyones religious beliefs. If you can scam a scammer, by all means do it.

You cannot let people get away with that type of thing.

Ratdog, If you find any information on this spider/snake low life let me know. This dirtbag still owes me $200 bucks.

If I could find where he crawled to and a way to stick a hot poker up his bum I would dearly love to do it. Trouble with scum like this, they can get away into cyber space, change like a chameleon and continue the only thing they know how to do....steal from people.

Jerry,
I gave up on it and moved on. I don't buy from anyone who I don't know through contact now. He owes you and me both, but I wrote him off!!!!
If he contacts me again, like he has done anonymously in the past, I will let the forum know...................Bruce

lugerholsterrepair 03-31-2008 02:04 PM

Bruce, I wrote him off too untill I find him again. Thanks, Jerry
