Replacement main spring?

OK, I read the previous posts about folks having problems with toggle not lockig all the way forward. Sounds like I need a new main spring. Correct? Tried another magazine and different ammo. No dice. Where do I get the main spring from? Are there different ones?
TIA

Just wanted to add that I did look at Wolff Springs, but they have 3 different weights. I just want to do it once and be done. Whast would be the correct one? Also, Numrich has springs, but I believe most of their stuff is used.

I'd had the same problem. I replaced the springs on my lugers and c96 mauser. Now shoots better than ever.

Vit, I don't remember the exact poundage one you need, from memory I think it was considered the "standard" weight, would be what Lee above pointed to in his link.

This?
SERVICE PAK - TYPE I contains the following springs to replace weakened or broken springs, returning the pistol to original factory condition: recoil spring, striker spring, extractor spring and trigger spring.
Stock No. 69201 -Type I.....$ 9.99 ea
Thanks guys.

As I understand it, yes, you could use the Service Pak - Type I which contains the main spring, and several others. It has the "Facory Standard" 38 pound spring which by itself goes for $7.89. If you want to restore you pistol to original specifications, I would not use the 36 or the 40 pound springs.
