How come I never find things like this in the attics I go into!

Very nice K-date rig - its a keeper, especially with the Kriegsmarine proof.
Well done, Albert |

These were found in an old vinyl suitcase stuffed with newspaper. We believe my friend's father brought them back after WWII. The holsters were 1941 and 1942 vintage holsters in beautiful condition. There were also a few other items in the suitcase including an old S&W spurtrigger, an unusual High Standard .380, and an 1890 Colt New Police revolver. My friend (a widow) called me when she found them and asked if she should call the police to pick them up! I suggested that was not a good idea and was able to give her a fair price for all of them. The two lugers (Erfurt 1912, and K Date) got me hooked. Recently she found a Remington Model 12C target rifle in a canvas scabbard. It is a breakdown rifle and is a lot of fun to shoot. I keep hoping she continues to find more treasure.
