Shooter Beast...

First time I have seen an LP-08 rear sight mounted atop the front toggle link...

Interesting shooter, but if the gun started off as a 1918 Artillery, where is the notch on the front of the frame? I thought they all had it by that time? The toggle train appears to be from an Artillery, so it is doubtful to me anyway that the gun is truly matching, barrel excluded of course.

The barrel is indexed on the frame; do you suppose this could have been part of a multiple barrel set? From the worn center barrel section it looks like the barrel has been repeatedly screwed on and off by hand. The indexes would have made it easy to know when the barrel was adjusted properly.

Now if more barrels were availableâ??that would be a cool shooter!

There was a reason DWM didn't fit the sight there....

It will be banged all over the place and eventually end up somewhere you don't like....

A funny one on me, I was looking so hard at the details I didnâ??t see the missing stock lug ---if it had been a snake it would have bit meâ??yes you should run away

The stock lug isn't missing. For easy access it has been moved to the front of the grip.
This is a keeper. I'm bidding the farm!
