I am looking for replica
Friends, I need your help please.
I would like to buy functional Luger replicas to shoot as sport . Which the companies that manufacture replicas ? Which the quality of these replicas ? |
Orlando, To my knowledge no "replicas" of the luger are currently in production, except for the Airsoft pellet guns. In the past, both Erma & Stoeger made 22LR copies, which are still available on the used market, and Aimco (marketed by Stoeger & Mitchell) made 9mm stainless copies, which you may find, but probably should avoid as shooters. Orlando,
The Lugers made by Mauser and imported by Interarms in the USA in the 1970's to 1980's make excellent shooters. Here is a link to a dealer which shows some of them : http://www.simpsonltd.com/index.php?cPath=179_213 You see them available on Gun Broker at time for less money...as well. You can also read about these guns in the section titled "All Post WWII Lugers" here on the Luger Forum. The stainless steel Lugers made in the 1990's by Mitchell/Aimco/Stoeger do not get good reports from some owners... I have two of the Interarms Mauser Lugers and I am very happy with these and take them out shooting several times a year. |
And of course, a 'shooter grade' luger is a good substitute as well.

Thank you friends.
Well, well, unhappily are there no manufacturers nowadays ? |
YES...The Krieghoff firm in Germany is now offering a new HK Luger in the $ 15-18K price range.
Here is a link with some photos of that new Luger : http://www.krieghoff.de/fileadmin/do...um-flyer-E.pdf |
Edited as I linked a fake replica and realized it after. Rick B
