German pistols
 

Germany had many pistols that were used during WWII ie P08, P38, PPK, FN hi-power, etc. Does anyone know how these were distributed to the soldiers? Did certain pistols go to a particular type of soldier such as infantry, armored, etc. Just a question I have been wondering about. Thanks David
