OT reloading .32-caliber

I have a small collection of Wehrmacht 7.65 mm pistols and wonder if it would be worth it to reload this round. Does anybody reload this caliber? The main problem I would see is trying to find the spent cartridges in the grassy area that I target shoot.

Matt, I have reloaded for it...I like to shoot them too. It is so small it is hard to handle easily, certainly not like a .45! The bullets are difficult to seat straight. What I usually do is scout gun shows and buy all the .32 boxes of ammo in the 5-6 buck range. Still a lot more than you could reload for but the little buggers are a pain in the kiester! New they probably run 12-16 dollars. Just depends on how bad you want em! Jerry Burney

They are fun to shoot. This afternoon, I took out a CZ27 that I have had for about six years but never shot and a recently bought late-war PP and fired one mag through each one. I was not able to find any of my brass! Jerry, your idea about scouting gun shows is a good idea. I may try to reload too if I can scrounge up enough brass.

When I used to load this, I used a 93 gr. Lee mold and cast them from wheel weights. Loaded them as cast in my Savage using2.0 gr. of Unique and a CCI small pistol primer.

I have reloaded .32 ACP, not too difficult, but the components are a bit small. Carbide dies make things much easier. I have found that .380/9mmK is more challenging to work with, especially for Walther PP/PPK. Very persnickity about bullet type, seating, and crimp.

32 ACP

Not off topic, I have an Erma Luger look like chambered for 32 ACP. I don't reload this caliber.

I do reload 7.65 mm Parabelllum. I got a large blue plastic tarp and spread it out. Makes the brass easy to find.

I've used a tarp before and probably need to do that again. We've had so much rain here even larger brass like 9mm is getting hard to find.
