byf 42, question.
 

What is mean letter A & B? Barrel is replaced on my Luger byf 42. Maybe some gunsmithing in WWII replaced barrel. What you mean about that? It is my confusion (A, B and cut). Thanks!

I'm not so sure this gun has been rebarrelled. It looks like all the barrel has been ground or buffed (or both?) where its identifying marks would be.
