Interesting 1914 Holster

This is an interesting holster I bought today. The stitching is very well done, appears period or just after. I am guessing civilinized, but what do y'all think?

Ed, a very cool holster. Bring it with you when next you travel to the land of milk and honey.

Geo, I will do so. I figured someone will either love it or hate it. With the quality, I figured you'd like it :)

Ed Very nice holster. As you know I like these commercial holsters. Nice find!! Bill

Yo Edderd,

That's a pretty neat and interesting holster. Is the front pouch an add-on, or was it made that way?

Ron

Ron, it has a different color to the "add-on" leather, but otherwise, looks like it was made this way. I doubt it, as it is dated above and marked for military use (I assume). I have also assumed it was an add-on after WW1, but the stitching is like how a german sadler would do it, not just new holes...

That is pretty unique. I like the way they did it.

Thanks...

Ron
