What Is A Square Grip Luger

ERIC, I read an individual referred to a 'SQUARE GRIP LUGER', a new one on me, Ive learned when to shut up, and ask the experts, ie what years, rarety? sincerly, thank you

Eric, That's a new one to me also. Perhaps they are refering to a grip safety luger. TH

I have seen that on a couple of listings and pretty much believe it is a typo that was intended to be "squeeze grip" indicating a grip safety Luger as Tom guessed. As I recall the guns being offered were 1906 models.

That makes more sence, Ive been squeezing my frenchy, all morning. Why was there a change in width? I definitly prefer the older on my 1900 test gun, to the wider, later 'frenchy' We should take a pole.

I have seen the Swiss M1929 Bern Luger sold by some sellers with the description of the "square grip"...truthfully...it is more of a rectangular grip safety...:)
