Brother's 1915 luger

My brother bought this luger several years ago. I know it has a police holster like mine but that about all I know. The only numbers not matching is the side plate and mag. I am thinking about trying to buy it from him and would like to know what a fair price would be. Thanks Brushy SE Okla.

Looks like it's in nice shape. Too bad the most important part is mismatched, so now it is a high quality shooter. IMO, it should sell for anywhere from $700 to $900. That is for the gun only. The holster will increase the value somewhat.

fair enough ;) honesty goes a longs ways, thanks for trying :)

Brushy, since it has a mismatched sideplate, then around $500-$600 is the going price for a "shooter"....

A holster, another $85-$200, all depends on how nice, original condition, etc it is.

I don't believe one mismatched part on a nice pistol, even if it is the sideplate, would bring the price down to a highly mismatched, reblued, or russian parts Luger. This one seems to have excellent original finish and a lot going for it.

Aaron, you could be right. I personally do not feel one mismatched part is an end all either, but I mind less if it is a firing pin or grip(s), a sideplate makes me cringe a lot more ;)
