Where to find correct Finn holster for this?

I rececived this 9mm Finnish luger recently as a gift. Thankfully, I do know the provinance of the piece; it is one of the Finn lugers that came from AIM.

It's a somewhat odd piece, though.

First, it has a 4" barrel [most finns have a 5" barrel]. More curious, at some point in time [probably during one of it's refurbishments] it was done up like a BYF [the so called "black widow"] luger; All parts blued [truly blued, I checked], black plastic grips [they are originals, I also checked that as well]. It bears the [SA] finnish property mark on the left hand side. All parts are either un-numbered or are matching; The Takedown lever, barrel, trigger, and toggle arm are all marked with the last two digits of the serial number. The pistol does show some evidence of being refurbed, perhaps several times, by the finns. The toggle is marked DWM, and it bears the import mark of TG guns discreetly on the right side, like all these recent finns do. She has The Crown over an N marking, which I belive this marking indicated that it was OK for modern Nitro-cellouse ammunition. To the right of that mark is the [SA]. While a "commercial" in the sense that it was sold on the open market, I understand this to be a Military Luger, in that it was sold to Finnland, and the [SA] mark is the Finnish Army property mark. Also, the safety does have the "Geisichert" marking. The suffix code is, I belive, "p"... it's very cursive, but according to the suffix charts on this sight, it's "p". The bore is excellant, and she shoots amazingly well.

So where would one find a fitting holster for a finn such as this?

I got lucky, and received a nice 5 inch luger holster for my Finn. Asking on the boards with a WTB is your first step. Watch Ebay and the boards, but be aware that many Finn holsters were made for both the Lahti and the Luger, true Finn holsters for a luger have the half moon cut out for the spare magazine.

oldjarhead -

Actually, that is a [SA] marked holster for a 5" Lahti. It will fit a 5" Finnish Parabellum, but it was made for the Lahti.

The Finnish Parabellum that "redbear" bought has a 4" barrel that would, obviously, fit in the holster. The Finns did make a [SA] marked holster for the 4" Parabellum, as all of the original pistols had 4" barrels.

The picture below shows on the left a Finnish holster made for either the Lahti or the Parabellum and has the "half-moon" cutout in the mag pocket for the Luger magazine, while the picture on the right shows a holster for the 5" Lahti.
