I need a holster, Krieghoff

need a holster for an early S Kreighoff, proofed, nice condition, I dont want much do I. also need a tool proofed.

I have a really nice original one, Beautiful proof on the inside. Made with black thread, no maker mark or date as is proper for these. Very nice form to the body and most important is the mag pouch, straight and well formed, not mashed or crushed. The leather is very smooth, black wearing to dark brown in the high spots, no crazing, cracking or lifting. The hinge is the same way. not even any cracking here. The closure strap is also 95% condition. Lifting strap is solid. You rarely see a Luger holster in this shape..much less a Krieghoff.
Now for the bad news. When I got this holster I did not like the belt loops. They had been period changed with inferior leather and the loops were droopy.
As you might know I restore holsters. I restored these belt loops to their original configuration. They were stitched in the original holes with linen thread. There are a few needle holes on the inside where the second set of loops were stitched out of the original holes. Not one guy in a hundred would give them a second look. They are just as they should be. No other work was needed on this beauty. Understand there are small nicks, one or two rubbed thru stitches all the things one would expect to see on an original piece. It is going on 70 years old but I have looked it over carefully and it is sound. I would venture to say this is about as good as these rare holsters get on the open market today. $900

I also have a beautiful Krieghoff tool $300

I thought that all one had to do in packing was to sit in a chair with a beer or a glass of wine and direct the wife on what to pack and how to pack it.

Charles, No, I have to pack my leather shop and help with the heavy boxes. Also take care of oil changes, tires etc...get ready for the trip. Put away all the lawn furniture, yard sculpture etc. It's a two man job!

Yes, Start saving your money. I have some great goodies! Jerry
