Bogus Items on Ebay
 

Two recent Ebay sales of fake stuff brought some big bucks. These items are not even good fakes.

Fake Navy Luger Stock (150110409675) brought $510.

Fake broomhandle harness(280103433629) closing at $185+.

At least the seller of the stock described it honestly. And admitted that he No's nothing about the item.

Not so with the seller of the holster! "sold to me as original" Give me a break!!! If he is a collector as he says, why be so vague?

It is common practice on ebay to word ads in such a way that the buyer is coaxed into thinking the item for sale is legitimate, while leaving the seller a way to claim innocence. I consider all vague wording to be proof positive the item is a fake.
