Looks like someone here on the forum heard you..... :D
Very nice looking gun, buyer did well. ;) Peet |
I would have done so myself...but CA State does not have this one on their DOJ (Department of Justice) "drop-test" gun list and it is not listed as a C&R. Since it was an out-of-State gun, I could not touch it.

Thanks for the heads-up Pete. It seems my finger wandered to the buy-it-now button all on it's own. <grin>
Now that I own two Lugers, do I get a badge or something? A party? A whistle? C'mon guys! |
Even better, David. You get to own two Lugers... :D
|
David, That is one awesome "pocket pistol" Nice buy.
|
Thanks. Anybody know where I can get my pockets enlarged?

No such problems here in Utah. Nice climate. Low population. Absurdly low cost of living. Why dya think I left the People's Republic?! And if you ever miss CA, you're only two states away. (So far, in 9 years I haven't had the urge.) |
Hi Pete
Are you interested in a 4" model NIB? Jerry |
Dave,
Your secret decoder ring is on the way... unless it self destructs. Which is likely.... |
Thanks, Jerry...but I would really like to get a 6" one in 9mm with the P-08 grip strap one day as another shooter.
Could never figure out how the "swiss style" 1970's Mausers were added to the C&R List but not the P-08 styled one...(except for the commemoratives). Will add one when I leave CA State in a couple of years... |
Pete,
Just came back from the Crossroads Show in Costa Mesa. I saw a 6" P08 style 1970's Mauser for $925. I thought about buying it, but I have enough shooters. Tracy |
Pistol arrived today.
It's gorgeous. I had forgotten just how pretty these 70's Mausers were. |
Jery and/or Tracy,
How would a sale in CA State work ??? I saw one in an Oakland gun shop a couple of years back, but it was tagged "Not For Sale In CA". This was a FFL shop and they told me they could not sell it to me as it was not on the DOJ drop-test list, not a Listed C&R pistol, and I was a CA resident. Is a private party transfer (in which both the seller and the buyer live in CA) different if the sale is done through a FFL-01 shop/dealer ??? David, Glad you picked up the Luger. Congratulations ! |
