Luger Accessories

Having hopefully solved the problem of getting a Luger in the first place, I now hope to get the "stuff" that goes with it. Specifically, I am interested in a repro holster, tool, rod, and spare mag. I notice that InterOrdnance has a presumably Chinese holster for $29, and perhaps they have the other stuff as well. They seem to do a brisk trade in German re-enactor items. Any thoughts on this subject? If it were an 1884 Trapdoor, I would know where to go, but with this I have no clue....

I think Pacific Canvas & Leather have some nice replica parts, but mainly holsters.
I have a very high front sight on my .30 Luger and was looking for a slightly bigger non-military holster.

IMHO, stay away from Sarco for these parts. I just ordered a very rough & badly made loading tool from them and a wood bottomed magazine that won't even fit in either one of my Lugers. It gets caught on the rivets.

I simply quit buying repro items. buy a holster thats well used and a nice tool, they'll be worth more later and more important, they'll fit the luger better.

I've picked up a repro from Marstar.
When I went to copy the link - I see that they have broadened their repro line quite a bit to include artillery, navy, and P-38 choices.

The others have already warned about long term value, fit, and just avoiding repro items in general.

The P08 holster I bought is a little snug, and smells a bit different, but overall seems worth what I paid for it.

YMMV.

Fritz.
