Dry Firing a Luger

What if any damage is caused by dry firing a Luger? Is there anyway to not do so once the toggel is activated?

I read that the striker can be damaged by dry firing on multiple threads in the past.

To ensure this don't happen you can either use the safety or lower the striker.

Here is a video on how to lower the striker.

Hope this helps,

Or just buy a snap cap!
I hope you have a 9mm. I have to make my own snap caps out of fired 7.65 cases.

Very cool videos. Who knew YouTube would be be a great source for gun info?
