Old Winchester 22 Rifles

I have purchased two old Winchester 22 rifles; a Model 03 and a Model 63.

Information on the 03 is particularly hard to find, even on the Internet.

I would like to communicate directly with anyone owning one of these models, especially the 03.

Please email directly: lugesm@charter.net

Thanks,
Luke

If noone here can help you, try www.rimfirecentral.com . They discuss all sorts of rimfire rifles and pistols and would probably be very helpful. They have a forum for each maker of firearms.

I bought a Winchester 03 about six months ago at an auction. I did not know what I was buying, I thought it was a .22 Long Rifle, and not a .22 Automatic. I assume .22 Automatic is hard to find, but have not tried. A nice looking gun, but not what I wanted.

Richard,
.22 automatic usually has to be special ordered and it's quite expensive.
I was looking at an 03 at a local gun show yesterday and the owner said it was about $30 for a box of 50.
Send me a PM or email if you want to sell it.

Hello Richard,

Mike is correct; ammo can be had at "Old Western Scrounger" website, but it is about 25cents per shot. It is good ammo, by the way. I have fired nearly 250 rounds of it without a problem.

Also . . . I would be interested if you decide to sell it. Please contact me directly at lugesm@charter.net.

Regards,
Luke
