On it's way from Berlin, DWM docs
Hi,
Just bought a small set of original DWM company correspondence, dating from february, 1903. They discuss a batch of Mauser 1893 service rifles and ammunition that was left over from the Spanish-American war. The Greek consul in Berlin inquired about the quality of these rifles at the DWM office in Berlin, as Greece was interested in buying the lot. This documentation has the famous 'Parabellum' letterhead: http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/brief_1903_3.jpg |

Very nice documents Gerben.
Good to see that they responded the same day the Greek Consul asked about the rifles. Also nice they used an 'old' Consulat G©ner¡l de Gr©ce stamp. Even though it was already 1903 the stamp dates 18..... ;) Does your set consist of many pages? Peet. |
