Thanks!

Hi John,
Do you have the last two digit of the serial number on the connecting pin between rear link and receiver of your Erfurt or is it unnumbered? Thanks, Tom |
Howdy,
All the numbers match on this gun. Is this what you are asking about? Looks like a proof to me on the pin. http://i5.tinypic.com/29w50gp.jpg |
Anyone have a unit history on this?
Started looking but got stuck at a dead end... Thanks for the help:bigbye: |
Hi,
Yes, thanks. Because mine (Erfurt 1913) has no number on this pin and I was a bit curious if it has been replaced. My other german lugers all have numbered pins. Tom |
Axel pins were not numbered until the early thirties.

Hi George,
Thanks, you're right. I just dug out my early Lugers and the pins are all unnumbered. Perhaps I had the WW II Lugers in my hands to often *g*... And one of my 1940's has a misnumbered pin... Tom |
Thanks Ron X2
