Hi,
I've got my hands on a nice Erfurt 1913 Luger with 10.J.M.G.35. unit markings. What do these stand for? Thanks in advance, Tom |
Hi Tom,
Welcome to the forum. You have a very scarce and desirable unit mark. 10.J.M.G. 35. 10th J¤ger Battalion Machine Gun Company weapon #35. Congratulations! Can you please post more photos of the pistol? Ron |

Tom,
That is a very nice rig. Is the holster dated? It is marked to a Reserve Infantry Regiment , "R J R" (119)? . I can't make out the number. I just noticed that the date is stamped above it in ink. 1913 or 1918? Ron |
Ron,
I can't read the marks properly, but I think the ink mark is 1918, there's no other datestamp. The original take-down-tool is in the integrated pouch. Tom |
That is a very nice holster, also. Hard to find in that condition. I'm happy for you and a bit envious...It's a Great rig!
