St. Etienne 11mm
I did great at the Ogden gun show today:
1. Got rid of piece of c**p Beretta (bad example of a good gun) 2. Bought a Dreyse, a Mauser (both .32 ACPs) and, 3. An 11mm St Etienne (model 1873, made in 1877) in near perfect condition I've searched and can find little by way of information on the St. Etienne. Found only one for sale on the internet, $900, mine is in much better condition and I paid $500. Anyone know of a source/knowledge base on these guns? They are incredibly well built and solid. |
David,
THis book might come in handy : http://www.rayrilingarmsbooks.com/cg...cgi/12491.html You may want to contact Tom Knox, Sr. over at the NAPCA. His web site is at the far bottom of the page. He is quite the French collector : http://www.napca.net/index.aspx You might also contact this fellow...he seems to carry French arms... http://www.antiquefirearms.com/ |
