Hi Everyone thought i would post what i have in my collection just for everyones interest.
All of these pistols where ww1 and ww2 bringbacks and there are more pistols popping up occasionly with time catching up on ww2 vets . descriptions are starting with the luger at bottomleft and working clock wise; Erfurt 1912 grip strap markings are B.9.R.7.7 s/n 4469 DWM 1918 s/n 9498 DWM 1917 artillerys/n 4182 Mauser broomhandle s/n 396707 Mauser broomhandle s/n 232689 DWM 1916 s/n 262 captured at the battle of flers nov 1916 by the 33rd battalion A.I.F [australian imperial force.] DWM s/n 791 dutch contract grip strap mkd K.M 'rust safety' luger mkd 'G' 42 s/n 8045 i think mismatched parts gun. 1911 A1 mkd US&S co swissvale PA USA s/n 1063341. Not banned but heavily policed , in this state we can pretty much collect any pistols we like but we are not allowed to use them except at specially sanctioned shoots.
We will continue to collect and enjoy while we can,. Cheers tony. |
