The Luger Book

I just picked up a 1987 edition of John Walter's "The Luger Book" which I plan on reading during Christmas. Since the book is getting rather old, is there anything I should keep in mind while reading; flaws, errors, etc?

From the land of Julenissen (Santa) - Merry Christmas to you all!

this might help, it is a thread of what folks think about various books... On Jan Still's forum there is a complete part of the forum with reviews of books...

Although a bit aged, it is not as inaccurate as some of the older books. I think it is a good read, although he sometimes looks at things from the "european" side of things...

Walter's "The Luger Book" is arranged in alphabetal order and best used for reference, rather that a straight read thru. His previous book "Luger", which is an out of print hard back, has basically the same info (plus more) in a more chronological order, thus an easier read. TH
