Interesting Mauser tool
Any thoughts on what this wrench may have been used for. The seller thinks it may be for a Broomhandle. Anybody know, or just an educated guess?

Mauser made hand tools, sewing machines, etc, etc during the Weimar period. This is one of their "alternative' products made before they got back into the gun business.

Hi,
Yes, the Mauser tooling division is about as old as the Mauser gun division and mostly outlived it either. If you do a search on 'Mauser' on ebay.de you'd be amazed at the things you find as Mauser is also a wellknown European office furniture maker. |
Hello Guys,
This particular tool is part of a Repairing Tools Set for MG34, MG42, K98 and P08. In the pictures you can see a complete set. Among these tools only two are Mauser stamped and they are specific for the MG; the one you are asking for and the second one is hereafter in the pictures. What is really interesting is that all these tools, and in particular the Mauser one, have a serial number and the date as well. If you want to see more pictures please have a look at my web site and select "WWII Field Repairing Tool Box" Cheers, Mauro http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...g_case_046.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...g_case_045.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...g_case_044.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/p1_copy6.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/p2_copy4.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/p3_copy1.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/p4.jpg |
