Mag ID ....
These two mags came with a "lot" at a recent live auction. I think the Luger mag is post war and has the script letter "a" on the spine, am I correct?
The other mag seems to be for a Luger in another caliber, it is numberred on the base ... any ideas about it? Mark http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/mags.jpg |

I think the smaller mag is for one of the Luger .32 ACP or .380 ACP look-a-likes... The Luger mag is an FXO "type" magazine that may be wartime... most of the post war mags of this type have no wafennampts... just a number like 2002/1 or something similar... These extruded steel magazines are excellent shooter mags... in my humble opinion, the finest magazines ever made for the Luger, or any other handgun for that matter.

John,
It looks like the late war mags but has no markings on the mag body, just the "a" on the spine .... makes me think about what it is ... Mark |
Mark, Your 32 or 380 mag is for the M68 Erma and I also have a similar unmarked (except for a low case "a" on the spine. My best guess is that it is a late WW2 police or commerical luger, like my 42 Banner. TH
