Marking?
I'm looking at a Luger that has no mfg stamp on the top side of the toggle. The sn is a single digit. What am I looking at?

:D come on dude, that is a description?? :D Could be several things, could be a mismatch anything with a blank toggle. Could be a 29 DWM, the later ones are called "sneak" by some folks, as they had nothing on the toggle. Could be a lunch box special (stolen parts from the factory) ???????? |
The only other marking is a crown over N. SN's match. No grip safety. Wood bottom magazine. Crown N on bottom of barrel, right side of toggle and frame, geschert under safety.
What's a lunch box Luger worth all other things being equal? |
Zeke, If original, it sound like a 1929 BKIW blank toggle production using left over DWM parts, but DWM disavowed responsibility for these, since they were out of business by then. TH

If as you noted, what would the value of such a gun? |
$ 450 if I am buying...
$ 1250 if I am selling... :D :D :D Sorry...couldn't resist... |
OK, that's what I figured!
