Jerry Burney's Birthday

Jerry Have a great Birthday and many more of them. You are a real asset to this forum and we thank you. Hope Ellie is getting better each day. Bill

Bill, Many thanks...It is a great day when you continue to have birthdays..not good when they stop.
Ellie continues to improve every day. She is like a tiger with it's foot in a trap..growles a little.
Freezing my kiester off here in the high mountains..OK during the Summer but a witch kitty in the Winter. Looking forward to getting to Yuma if possible...
Thanks for thinking of me. Jerry

Jerry, Happy birthday "old" man... those days seem to come faster and faster at our age...

..now, about Ellie...she is not well? Please let me know via PM if you wish... whatever the problem is I would like to pray for restoration of her health...

best regards to both of you, John

Jerry, my best to you m y friend!

John, she broke her leg a month and a half ago, it is healing nicely, but ...

And Jerry, if you want me to drive over to help pack, I'd be glad to, as Terry told Ellie :)

Hey Bud,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Give my best to Ellie. Having to herd you around with a broken leg would make me growl too. :)

John D. 11-04-2006 10:51 PM

Hi Ellie...!!!

Please give Jerry a Birthday hug and a kiss from the rest of us (well - I won't hug and kiss Jerry - but heck, you married him!! :) ..!!

If Jerry is reading this over your shoulder, tell him to get started on the list you gave him for his "birthday" chores around the house...

;)

Seriously - HAPPY B'DAY JERRY!!! And our thanks for all you do on the Forums...

John D.

' Happy Birthday Jerry" Thanks for your wonderful input on the forum.

Gentlemen all, it is much ado about nothing. We live untill we die and the trick is to enjoy everyday as if it were your birthday. Luckily I have the benifit to be happy with the people I associate with, where I live and the type of work I do. I am blessed. A birthday is as good a time as any to reflect on my good fortune.
I thank you all for taking the time to express these salutations for my reading pleasure. Thank you all for thinking of me...Now where are my presents? Jerry

What does a 91 year old need/want for his birthday ??

lugerholsterrepair 11-05-2006 07:37 PM

Charles, While I am a relatively young 57 it is true that the older we get the less we actually need. Having already paid for house, car and such. I have a BA degree in Gerentology and with that I can buy a cup of coffee for a buck, buck and a half or three dollars at Starbucks. The median age most men in America will achieve is 76 years old. To become 91 years old is a rare feat. I hope I get that far in good health...Jerry

57!!! You young wippersnapper! How did you get so darned talented in such a short time. I got you beat by a decade and I still can't do anything worth a hoot. Hope you have many many more happy birthdays. The very best to you and Ellie (hope her leg has healed to the point where she can kick your behind when you need it).
Ron

Jerry,

May I also extend to you a very happy birthday greeting! You have touched the collecting lives of many of us (me included) with your outstanding leather working and repair talents. I also hope your wife has a speedy recovery. I know you go southwest for the winter but if you ever make it up to Las Vegas I would enjoy meeting you in person. We have the Las Vegas Antique Arms Show in January at the Riviera Hotel and it is a pretty good show. Maybe you can make it up? Anyway, as a older client of mine tells me all the time " live everyday as though it was your last and someday you'll be right!". All the Best, Lloyd in Vegas

Jerry,

Da Czechs in da Male.

57!? You're old enough to be my Uncle!! You're much older than I... at least by two months and three weeks. Geez, what an old duffer... ;)

At least I was able to entice your age from you. People usually do that when you add enough years to them. (Although you did not yet say what you wanted or needed except coffee.) It is really fun when you do it to a woman. But make sure that she is not between you and the door when you do it.

lugerholsterrepair 11-05-2006 09:10 PM

Charles...It is really fun when you do it to a woman. I have always been of that opinion, yes! I am extremely happy but not gay.
Ron, Didn't I tell you? Ellie broke her leg kicking me in the kiester! Thanks for the compliment.
Lloyd, I would surely like to make it up to the Vegas show..Trouble with my schedule in Yuma..All of the help I give Ellie in her business takes place from the 1st to the 15th of the month. Oddly enough most gunshows take place during this period of the month!
Ron, I still think I'm 18 from in here..It's when I look into the mirror..I think who is that ? Some old guy sneaked in here...Jerry
