Ed Tinker Capture
Ed is most likely still driving back to the great state of Colorado but I "captured" this piece from him after a large dinner and 6 hours of "talk".
I plied him with food and booz .. he finally let it go to me ... I think he likes the Simpson stuff better. Thanks ED! http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/byf41_luger.jpg |
I love this Rig!! Great Luger Mark! I'm guessing Ed is going to get home and scratch his head as to why he let such a great rig go? :)

Somehow I let it slip that bars / alchohol and women don't mix with me. He discovered that hundred dollar bills and alchohol have the same effect :D
Seriously, I think he got a good deal, as I had when I bought it, so I passed it to a collector who would apprecaite it more than a Weimar era collector :) Ed |
shucks ed... I was hoping it would come to OH!!!

Ed,
Have you driven back since Sunday? Dang, we had a great time ... my wife really likes you .... thinks you did well with your interaction with my 4 year old .... Thanks Bud! Too bad your are so far away now ... we never got to the Jap stuff or belt buckles ................... or the early Mauser P.38's ......... Mark |
I know, we'll get to them later ;)
I like kids a lot, they either are scared of my loud voice, or seem to love me :) I am in Hayes Kansas, will be home tomorrow, its been a long 4 days? Saw Mark on Friday night, Leo on Saturday, dinner with a high school friend, had brunch with Bob Maddix on Sunday AM, had a nice visit on Sunday afternoon with Bob (southriv) and then visited my good friend Carl Hacker on Monday, all "on the way"... But I figured I would not make it out for a while so.... Heck of a good time so far though, but planes are faster! ed |
Super nice rig.

Congrats Mark...
Ed, I hope you have a nice Simson rig in mind to replace that one... |
