Most fragile of all Luger parts?

Hi all,

This is an amassing site with lots of info where Luger enthusiast can thrive. I am still in process of reading all articles but there is too many. Still I have question for you guys and girls. I hope there is some, right?

So here is the question:
What is the most fragile of all Luger parts? Which ones are destined to go first? I just had ejector on my Luger to give away. Reason behind this question is that I would like to make stash of most possible candidates to have in tool box, next time something snaps while I am on the range. I have a very nice 6â??â?? shooter so the numbering is not of any concern to me.

THANKS

Joe,

A few years ago I did a brief survey on just this subject, you can find it at this link: http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...n+parts+survey

As you have discovered, the ejector is by far the most likely part of a Luger to break. I have broken two in the Luger I shoot, and a third one chipped without actually becoming unserviceable.
