wood handles
i have a p-08 military. one of the handles is a little loose. i was advised that this is not uncommon as a result of shrinkage over the years. the luger was likely manufactored sometime prior to ww1.

You can minimize the movement of your grip by installing an appropriate rubber or neoprene O-ring under the screw... but I would get yourself a set of new grips for shooting if you do that... the old ones are too brittle and prone to breakage... you should use them only for display.

I would try Hugh Clark, He is the Luger grip expert on this forum.
It is good to see another New Jerseyan on this site. |
I'd second that recommendation of getting replacement grips from Hugh.
I just purchased a set of his checkered Nills grips and they fit perfectly. There are cheaper ones out there, but like a lot of things you get what you pay for and you'll like what you get from him. -tony- |
