Scott, The Gun Report of October 2006, on page 67, states the Big Reno Show will be November 30-December 2nd. Is this an error? Which is correct?

Herb,
Someone at Gun Report must have made a mistake on the year. The November 30th - December 2nd date is for 2007. This can be confirmed on their web site under "future events". Scott |
Thanks guys, I hope some important people don't make the mistake of arriving a week late.
Pete, are you going to break down and come to this one? I will treat for lunch AND dinner!
May drop in for a day if the weather is nice. If not, possibly the April 2007 show.
Will look forward to seeing you, Pete! Any guess as to which of the three days you might drop in?
Probably for Sunday, only, as I would be flying in from another business trip back to CA State.

Just got back from the Reno Show... many lugers, many many people! Of interest, Patrick and Richard Hogan were there, representing Rock Island Auction and brought many of their most desirable firearms with them to display. Of considerable interest to the Forum members was Luger pre-production #20, which the Hogans graciously allowed several to examine. I know much discussion occurred regarding this piece, but, to be brief, one has to examine such a piece in person in order to make any meaningful judgment. The consensus was that this #20 is, in fact, as it is represented in the catalog description.
