Firing pin ID
Hi,
Recently acquired a pair of spare firing pins. These are unnumbered, unmarked 'new old stock' and still had traces of packing grease on them. One of the spares is shown before a standard fluted 1930's Mauser firing pin. You can see it differs from the normal firing pin slightly. I've compared them with old style DWM pins as well, also slightly different. The question therefore is: Anyone know the source of these firing pins? http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/firing_pins.jpg |
Found it!
The bottom pin is a postwar Mauser Parabellum pin. |
