LUGER NEWBEE DOES 1ST TAKEDOWN!
I finally got up the courage to field strip my luger and it was much easier than I thought. I was so intimidated by taking down any guy especially the Luger. I had to figure out about inserting the magazine upon reassembly then pulling back on the toggle to hook the spring. After that I tackled my m1911. It feels so good to be able to get inside, clean throughly, and see even more of the history of these two fine guns. The Luger looks just a beautiful taken apart as it does in full spelndor.Does the realoding/takedown tool really make matters easier?

I agree, the Luger is just as awesome (if not more) on the inside as it is on the outside.

Re: Do you think that ?
Its because most of the parts that are on the inside of most pistols are on the outside of the Luger ?

Be careful on things like the the cartridge ejector on the side. It can shoot out easily. If you remove the saftey be careful. The pin is akward to take out and put back in and it can break.
