Certification of Compliance with 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B)

Perhaps I should have just started a new topic, I deleted the question from my previous C&R thread as no one responded and it was a a bit off topic, I just didnt want to clutter up the boards. Here is my question:

I had thought that the Certification of Compliance with 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B) was only needed for the older Curios & Relics FFL but I keep seeing it mentioned everywhere on the internet. Should I have sent a copy of this sheet that asks for your name twice and where you were born with my C&R application even though it is the newer type? Am I going to need to wait until I get the application back denied before submitting this form or can I somehow get it to them so they can finish my application (Somehow I doubt theyre organized enough to do that)? I would appreciate hearing from people who have obtained their C&R licenses somewhat recently too if possible and what you did.

Thanks,
Ken

When ever I have a C&R question I post them here.

It is a good bunch and should be able to answer your question.

I just called the ATF from a number I found on that site that you provided. The Certification of Compliance with 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B) is no longer required to be submitted with the new application as the new one asks your name more than once and asks where you were born so I'm okay. If only the process could be expidited for like 10 bucks.
