My New BYF 41'

Well finally got my first BYF. Gun is in great shape.. All matching except Mag. Matching grips have been shellac finished, but other than that looks great! A few wear marks in the normal places (although the biggest wear spot is just above the left grip. Love to hear some feedback..

Thanks all,
Reggie

I always like my collection shootable. You wouldn't believe just how many I have gotten rid of because they were too nice. This one would fit right in... original finish, no rust, all matching... good pickup IMHO

Thanks for the comment. Camera Flash in the pics makes the blue look quite a bit lighter than it is... It is actually quite dark & nice..

Very nice BYF. I have a BYF 42 that is like yours that I like to shoot. It is matching and has the original numbered grips which I replace with repro ones when I shoot it. Are your grips numbered to the gun?
Bernie

Hey Bernie,

Thanks for the post! Yes, grips are matched, as well as firing pin/toggle pin, and all other numbered parts. Only thing not matching is the Mag.

Thanks!

Reggie

Reggie,

You're either going to have to change your forum name or send the BYF to me. We can't allow a waltherguy to own a Luger. Sorry, forum rules. ;)

Nice Luger...BTW

Ron

HEHE! :)

Well Ron, you may be right.. Since the Luger collection is getting close in size to the Walther collection.. maybe I should change my name to "Lugerguy" ... That is unless you have a nice orginal HP or Zero Series you'd like to trade for the BYF 41' ;)

Reggie, please don't pay much attention to Mr. Smith! We all know he drinks his lunch, but I suspect he also smokes something funny once in a while!!

Like your new Luger!! I think you're right about the grips. Enjoy!!

BTW welcome to the Lugeritis Club. A severe disease with no known cure!!! :)
