BYF and Kreigoff grips
 

I know of a couple of lugers that might have some interesting grips. I'm trying to determine how to identify the black plastic grips used on some byf lugers, and the brown plastic grips used on some Kreigoff lugers. Any pointers would be welcomed.

Mike, There's really no substitute for experience in this area, but chapter 1 of Gibson's "Kreighoff Parabellum" is the best published guide that I know of. TH

I'll see if I can find a copy locally. What we have are a SA marked Finnish Luger that I bought in 1988 that has black plastic grips, I'm wondering if these are
possibly BYF grips. I have friend with a BYF luger that has some rather worn
brown plastic grips. Did any of the BYFs use brown grips? Did the Finns use
BYF grips on their lugers? These are the questions.
