Beholla pistols?

Guys,

My elderly dad has one of these guns, I haven't seen it yet (recently) but I believe he bought it back in the 60's with capture papers. I know this is not enough info to post on but what are they?

His notes are handwriiten and it is in .32. (on my phone conversation)

I'll will see the gun in two weeks when he comes to visit but I thought some of you guys might have some info before I see the pistol.

Pardon my non iformation but does anyone know anything about these guns?

I did a "google" search on it an it appears to be manufactured during WWI, anythng to look for?

Thanks Ed, I'll do a search over there. I think it also came with a "boot" knife.

..... Just did my search, could be an interesting find ... now I know what to look for and we can discuss it on the phone before he gets here, it is too late at night to do it now .... thanks again. I'll keep you guys updated.

Mark, As previously mentioned, the Becker & Hollander made Beholla was one of four pistols of similar design (the others were Stenda, Menta and Leonhardt) made during WW1 and slight after. The officially military accepted ones will have a crown over a letter acceptance mark on the left frame. Tom
