Thought some of you might like photos of this gun and holster, not in the best of condition but an "honest" bring back and hard to find. The holster is a bit unusual since most leather was controlled by the military.

I bought a similiar StarB a few years back. Not German marked, but wartime proofed.

Cool and interesting guns. Mine shoots fine and was cheap to boot.

I bet a genuine German accepted wartime issue B ain't so cheap!

I have a childhood friend whose father brought back a Star B from WW2, and he had the barrel filled with molten lead so that my friend could safely play with it as a child... I haven't seen my friend or the gun in years... I may have to try and look him up and see if he will part with it... the melting temperature of lead is way below the damage point for the barrel and I bet that is all it would take to restore this gun to shooting condition...
