Holed holster
A friend recently pick up an artillery luger with a holster that has an old war wound. The pistol and shoulder stocks numbers do not match. If the pistol was in the holster, it is theoredically possible for the bullet to have gone through the trigger guard, though not likley, either the gun was out of the holster or been replaced. What an interesting photo! Just from this one photo, I would think that the penetration was through the front of the holster exiting through the stock. I hope you can post some more images. This is a fascinating study and a lot more photos would be very enlightening.
