Baby Luger?

What exactly is done to convert a Luger to the Baby Luger. Who are the people that are currently doing it. Do they just do the cutting and welding and then you finish it off? Thank You.

The bbl is reduced in length and the grip frame and magazine are shortened. Neil Keller of Kustom Ballistics does the best job for the money around. He does the cutting, welding, and bluing in dip blue or rust blue whichever you prefer. Don't fool with "Lugerman" from what I've seen of his polishing jobs, they stink.

Just to pass on some info. I saw two baby lugers at the National Gun Day show in Louisville today and they were made by a Frank Parham of Mt. Juliet, Tn. He was asking around $1900 for the finished piece which included the donor gun included in the price.
Pretty nice work, no sign of the welding and the grips were made from scratch and checkered, also nice reblue.
I have no interest in the guns, just passing on info.
Phone number is 615-758-9208. Since he's set up at the show, I assume he won't be available until Monday.

Neil Keller did a baby luger for me. It started as a really ratty old 1920 commercial that someone ground the stock lug off so much that they left a hole in the backstrap. I had Thor (Ted Green) do the finnish work on it. And a local friend Bill Austin (http://mysite.verizon.net/res07i4j/index.html) make the grips from scatch. These guys are the best. I can't say enough about thier good work.
