Not much description, especially on those that have had the holes plugged and belt loops replaced

Randall M. Bessler 06-01-2006 06:03 PM

Only 2 have plugged holes and/or loops replaced. This can be seen in the photos. All are at no reserve so they will bring what they are worth.
Best!

I kinda like the lined and welted M2 holster. A little out of the ordinary. I have seen a couple of these. The leather is unusual. I wonder if it is calfskin.

Hi Ron,

I have one of those neat M2 holsters and a M2 luger...it is on page 6 of the Member Gallery.I even have 2 circle/triangle wooden magazines with the rig now. Still have the repro rod/oiler with it to fill the void.

Will sell the rig off sometime when a Swiss temptation comes along...

Pete,
I have an M2 rig, but my magazines are not correct. I believe the rod/oiler is original. I paid $1200 for the rig about 8 or 9 years ago, which was probably a little too much then. When I get time I'll post a picture of the oiler/rod and you can tell me if it's original.

Hi Tracy,

The dicing or checkering along the screw-off cap/lid of my oiler runs in only one (1) direction. The original ones have the DWM dicing pattern of lines cut in two (2) opposite, intersecting directions that form the "dice" or "diamond" patterns formed by the intersecting cut lines.

I paid $ 75 for my repro at a past Reno gun show which is a well-done piece. I keep going after originals on e-Bay...but get out-bid at the last minute and I am too cheap to go above $ 150 for these...;)
