1940 42 Price Check
I have been trying to find an all correct, all matching TR Luger. I was offered a 1940 42 Luger. It is all matching but for an unmarked FXO bakelite magazine. It also has a holster that is "vet altered" with a hole in the tip where the rawhide went thru and a hole in the flap where an EK1 went thru. The pistol is in 85%. Seller wants $1200 out the door. Is this a fair price or do I pass?
Thanks in advance. Eric |
Did the deal for the 98% 1940 42 for $1300 fall through?
|
I was concerned about the asterix mark on the barrel of that pistol. That gun is not going anywhere fast. He is firm at $1300. I want to research the asterix mark before I drop that kind of money.
With a little luck Ron, I will buy both. I am letting a few things go and they should cover it. |
Wow! Two at a time! That has to be fun.

No, not fun. I figured I had a lot of extra "stuff" that I really did not need. The "stuff" I kept just in the event I would someday get, say, a Zero Series P38. Getting rid of it should be painless, and I'll get TWO TR Lugers.
