What is this magazine pt2

I've come across another odd magazine, this one has a wooden base with Germany stamped into it. The guy selling it, had no s/n posted so when I asked, he told me that when he examined it closer, he could see the "Germany" stamped into its bottom.

This is a regular commercial magazine. Commercial Lugers were shipped with magazines whose bases were unmarked (except for 1902-1906 9mm). Foreign manufactured products imported into the US are required to be stamped with the country of origin; it is speculated that these GERMANY marked magazines were imported separately, that is, as individual items not included with a pistol.

1920's lugers imported from Germany into English speaking countries. Nice to find one to match up with a 1920's luger (commercial type) that is also stamped "germany"...

I agree with Dwight that the "Germany" marked magazines were imported separately from the 1920 commercial pistols, and that the magazines that came with the pistols were unmarked. Technically, you should find an unmarked magazine for your pistol and use the marked mag as a spare if you have a commercial holster to put together a rig.
