Types of ww2 9mm ammunition
With only one TV in the house and my wife watching Gilmore Girs.. It was a great time to find out how many different types of german ww2 9mm boxes I have.
Found these, and something tells me there is a lot more variations out there.. any arcive of such? http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...9mm_type_1.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...9mm_type_2.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...9mm_type_3.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...9mm_type_4.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...9mm_type_5.jpg |
Hi Morgan,
I think you can easily spend a lifetime or two trying to find all sub-categories of WW2 9mm ammo, packaging and labels. :) And then you have the ammo crates: 4160 cartridges, in 260 16-packs: (this one contains my CD-collection nowadays. They fit perfectly) http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/label_p08.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/label_small.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...port_small.jpg http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/ammocrate.jpg |
..and I quess she would even blame me for spending all my time collecting sub-categorie ww2 ammo;)
Well.. I can't get into collecting these.. promissed myself that I would limit my collection to Luger's only. Have one paper box.. perhaps there where three of these in one wooden container the size of yours http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload...o_pappeske.jpg |
Hi Morgan,
To get the numbers right, I'd expect 4 or 5 'bulk packs' containing 16-round pacs in one of these cases. Neat stuff, isn't it? |
Sure is;)
Not sure how many 16-round packs that is in the 'bulk pack', as it is unopened. I quess looking at the hight and with might reveal the number, but it's not at my location at the moment. |
