Odd Grenade
I dont't think it is WWII, my elderly dad brought it out of his collection for me to photograph. The "fuse" is still live ....

If the "business end" still contains "sprengstoff", you have a distructive device and are looking at 10 yeras in club fed.

Tom,
The top of the "fuse" is not inert! I'll tell him about that but he has had that piece for many, many years. ..... I am just a messinger! My dad took me to an antique shop that had an Italian machine gun from a WWII airplane for sale at $1,500.00 .... the owner didn't have a clue about the form 4 ..... he said it came from an estate and he was only an "antique" dealer ..... Thanks for the "heads up" ... Mark |
That machine gun is TROUBLE. Pls explain the law to the gentleman.

RUSSIAN WWII
|
Guys,
It was most likely Italian ... 12.something caliber, belt fed, and oil? cooled. Big, big piece of metal. I tried to tell the guy but his place had some neat stuff, like a fun house/guy room/museum .... so I decided to just shut up and look around..... He had a bunch of old precussion rifles, crap stuff, my dad handed me a glass on one of these worn out guns and said what is the marking on that .... I couldn't resist and said it was marked CSA ... the dealers eyes bulged out of his head untill I started to laugh .... My dad thought that was the funniest thing ever .... What a set up ... you should have seen the look on his face!!!!!! Mark |
You are a very BRAVE man! That scares me just looking at it, without the tension of disassembly, but it is VERY, VERY Kool!!
