K.M. Royal Navy Luger

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Forum, I would like to receive comments on my Navy Luger. I recently learned that my Luger is a Dutch Luger from the 5th batch sent to the Royal Navy in November of 1930. Additonally, I learned that the K.M. mark on the grip strap makes it one of very few. Although the gun has been reblued and the K.M. is very worn, I'm guessing it is worth a bit of money. All #'s except the extractor and trigger guard cover match. Please look at the pictures and feel free to comment.

Dave, welcome to the forum!

To upload more than one, you have to use "upload" on the upper right us upload, copy the url and paste the url into the message area.

Also, use ADD REPLY and not new topic, as you made four different threads.

Being reblued and wrong parts, it is not worth a lot of money as a collector piece. Being unusual it is worth more than a shooter, but...

After I wiped the tears from my eyes, I came to the conclusion that this piece is a perfect candidate for restoration.

Tom A, if I wanted to restore the weapon, where would I go? Would that add or lessen the value of the weapon, and would the K.M. for example be legible again? I have had the gun for about 20 years, only fired it once in that time, and never even bothered to look into it's history until just last month.
