Research Archives
Hello Everyone,
Has anyone noticed the Reseach Archives of the forum? I just did and I think it is a great idea to keep everything in one area like that. I would like to say thanks to the person who came up with this idea and to John D. for putting it there.   Nice work and great idea. Thanks. Sid. |
Sid, I was thinking you were talking about the "search" feature and thought, I know, you knew it was there? :D ;)
But then remembered, oh yeah, John JUST made this part, it is supposed to be for research only, NO posting except by moderators to add new information that will stay there. Ed |
Yeah Sid, this is where moderators will put articles on luger history and features that you can look at, once it has been decided that the study has been educational... like the article by Dwight on the early commercial database... great work Dwight!... and thanks to John D for making this a permanent feature where folks can look stuff up.

Hi Ed and John,
Well I for one will be looking forward to seeing more research and educational topics placed in this area. I have learned quite a bit from their work. Thanks to all who have taken the time to do the work and the graciousness to share it with us. Sid. |
I think there are many threads that could be modified, i.e. take out the "good job" "this thread sucks" remarks and be placed there. Maybe if folks point out certain threads we can move them over??

Perhaps that would be a good place to put my early frame tutorial?
|
exactly Ron and thanks, will see if I can drop it, otherwise John D will.

Ed, a good place to start might be the general infomation area of the forum. There is some good stuff there that folks might over look.
Sid. |
Okay, how do you access it? It shows on my computer that it is locked.
|
Kelly,
I believe that the "lock" only indicates that the discussion cannot be posted to. --Dwight |
Well, I looked at it again. Okay, I get it now. It's a "search engine" basically.......duh! Pretty neat!
