Luger Friends in need of Prayer
Two of my Luger clients have recently mentioned to me the dire health conditions they find themselves in. Both are Christians. I would appreciate prayers for these men and their familys in this tough time for both of them.
First is my friend Robert Jennings of Henderson Nevada. He was a camerman for ABC in Los Angles for many years and has just recently retired to NV. He has what he believes is terminal pancreatic cancer that is also involved in several other major organs in his body. Second is my friend Ron Welch from Matthews NC. He mentioned that the drugs the doctors have given him to help him with a liver he received as a transplant some 11 years ago are destroying his kidneys. Please pray for my brothers in Christ, Robert Jennings and Ron Welch if you feel led to do this for us. I believe in the power of prayer as I believed it prolonged my own dad's life and got him through a surgery that none of his doctors really believed he would live through. I have seen this forum help others before and it is a real comfort to see the heartfelt concern of friends here. Many thanks to all that help us in this endevour. Thor |
Ted, I know both of these men, not well, but they seemed like decent, good men and i am sorry to hear this.
They will be in my thoughts and prayers my friend. Ed |

Ted -
My wife, having suffered a potentially deadly stroke in January, and now almost completely recovered, we surely understand the power of prayer. Our prayers and hopes will be with them. Regards, Luke |
I too believe in the power of prayer and that Christ answers our prayers. I have prayed for you two friends and encourage other to pray for them. I know that prayer saved my daughter from a horrible life and and she is now a great Christian woman. Thank you Thor for bringing this to our attention.

Having a daughter who still walks among us after a 5 year struggle with cancer is proof enough to me of the power of prayer... all my friends here have answered my call for prayer on those occasions when it was most desparately needed... I thank you all... and thanks for the occasional email that mentions that she is still in your prayers...
God Bless you all... you know who you are. My prayers will now include these two fine men as well. James 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. |
Ted,
As we have discussed on the phone, you know my prayers are with both guys!!! I remember when John S. daughter had her struggle and prayer does WORK! I also know this for a fact personally. |
