Why is this holster worth $550.
1939 holster with Navy proofmark
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 The condition doesn't seem that prime. Is this what a typical Navy-proofed holster brings today? |
If this is real, it would probably go for well over 1k.

This seller is 100% legitimate. I have known him for years.

You are paying for condition. Like George said, the seller is legitimate and reputable. |
I hope I didn't appear to be casting aspersions on the seller. My question was because I didn't think the condition was that clean. The leather and stitching looked very good, but it seemed there were some stains and some of the dye had worn off. I'm a humble novice and so I'll study these pictures and learn from it. I thought it would be neat to have a Navy-marked holster and was hoping to bid around $450 and never had a chance the way the price leaped up to $550. All I can do is learn from it.
I'll really look at those pictures again and burn that condition into my brain. Thanks for the help. |
Jimbo,
I have an "extra" KM holster that is FS; if interested, contact me off forum at catofong@aol.com Tom A |
